Who Owns Bidvaro?
BidvaroShop is a Jewish owned shop owned by Maya Mey Aroyo, Jewish-Israeli illustrator & product designer living in Bulgaria.
The name Bidvaro, comes from the Jewish blessing "shehakol nih'yeh bidvaro" - said when eating or drinking items that are not fruit, vegtable, or bread. The meaning of the word Bidvaro is - as he spoke.
The first "Bidvaro" item was actually made by Maya Mey when she sent her father in Jerusalem a mug with the writing שהכל נהיה בדברו
shehakol nih'yeh bidvaro- in Hebrew.
Wear your Heritage
Maya mey has been selling tshirts, home decor items, wall art, and other gifts designed by her- since 2017.
However, following October 7th, having lived in the villages and kibbutzim that were attacked, Maya found refuge in designing Jewish heritage merch, for herself and other Jews around the world, who couldn't find just the thing they needed- on in local shops.
This decision, plus collaborating with Fourthwall (shop builder)- brought to life different Jewish Gifts, all made when ordered, in 4 locations worldwide, with worldwide shipping- mostly, cause living in Bulgaria- you won't have access to the same Jewish merch that you'll find, let's say, in Walmart in Boston.
